Okay! So, I love the light and the beams. I just bought the mirror off craigslist and I'd prefer to update it a bit because it's kinda old looking. That's all assuming you think the mirror should stay there. The bookcases don't have to stay there but I was thinking of painting that whole wall and the bookcases a different color so they would look built in?!?! Maybe lighten up the dark wood? Also, they don't have to have the books and wine on them. I can put different stuff that you recommend. Thoughts? The rug can go or stay- whatever you think. The Table has to stay but I'm open to mixing up some new chair options. In the adjoining room I obviously need help, too. I'd like to do the main living room a light warmish grey accented with greens, yellows, blues- cool colors - trying to get away from red and gold so let that be an influence to you when considering the dining room! Thanks for your help!
